Sonya Alvino is a seasoned businesswomen with extensive experience in real estate development, construction project management, online marketing and business development. Born in the UK but raised in The Bahamas offers her a broad base of knowledge in the international standards of doing business and also the business culture of The Bahamas.

In 2014 Your Bahamas Ltd was set up as a real estate sales/rentals and property management company and offers a full suite of selling/buying/renting and concierge advice to clients all around the world. Specializing in the management of commercially leased buildings, subdivision completion and sales, but also residential property management is at its core.

The key aims of Your Bahamas Ltd are to service our clients with local knowledge, a wide base of real estate acumen, and a keen sense of marketing to target the markets needed to bring you a sale or close a deal on the property of your dreams.

Coming directly from a commercial development background, Sonya completed the final development phase of a 77 acre industrial subdivision and kicked off a 68000 square foot commercial complex in the West of Nassau before joining the ranks of the Bahamas Real Estate Association as a Licensed Broker in 2009.

During this phase of her career, Sonya also completed development of subdivisions in East Nassau, and Eleuthera whilst also initiating the Community Associations that would manage these subdivisions going forwards.
